For me, pursuing master's study abroad is to step outside the comfort zone, face new life challenges, and learn how to cope with those challenges. A year at UCD Michael Smurfit means a lot to me. The innovation and creativity-focused modules broaden my mind to new thinkings and ideas. Working on projects in teams with friends from diverse nationalities allow me to explore to different ways of thinking and working processes.

A semester in South Korea during my second year at college was a meaningful period packed with experiences and new thoughts. Explicit culture differences were not painful challenges yet lessons to enhance my adaptability and capability to cope with unfamiliar situations; and this was a start of my interests in Korean cultures and language, which I have been developing my Korean language skill until these days.

Joining AFS Intercultural Program in Switzerland for one academic year was an opportunity to unlock my courage to try new things, live in new places, and meet with new people. Going to the local school taught in German and living with a Swiss host family allowed me to get close to the local community and see the authentic ways of living. I feel grateful to be surrounded by friendly people who inspire me that friendship across cultures has no limits regardless of diversity.
